The Idyllwild Water District provides the residents and businesses of Idyllwild, California, with water and sewer hookups. IWD covers 2,520 acres, with 30 miles of water line. The water facilities include the Foster Lake reservoir, wells, surface water intakes, water storage tanks, water purification systems, and water meters. The sewer facilities include miles of sewer lines, a sewage treatment plant, and percolation ponds. The state-of-the-art solar system powers six primary wells, a water filtration plant, and a booster station for emergency water for the Pine Cove Water District.
